Rpv Business Reports. The entire application has been enhanced to work better on Windows 7 and Windows Vista.
Rpv Reports Viewer. New parameter ZoomToOpen to load a report with a predefined zoom different than 100%.
New "Num" and "Text" commands to specify Rpv when to export numbers or texts to XLS.
Rpv Visual Editor. Rpv Visual Editor has been enhanced to work with a large number of elements and more quickly.
RPV2PDF utility. A new engine has been implemented to work better on Windows 7 and Vista.
RPVPRINT utility. The utility has been enhanced to give the possibility to delete the file once it has been printed.
Rpv Print Server. The print server is now able to convert files to PDF instead to print them directly.
The entire application has been checked and several bugs were fixed.

Rpv Visual Editor. The tool was enhanced to give the developer more options.
Rpv Reports Viewer. The tool incorporates the ability to export to PDF and Excel in one step from the toolbar.
Rpv2PDF utility. This important utility was enhanced to work faster and give more options. Export only the specific pages to the PDF.
Rpv E-Mailer. The tool sends all your reports in PDF automatically to avoid end users to download the Free Viewer to see the reports.
Rpv E-Mailer. The tool connects to Unix servers using the FTP queue capability, in the same way as Rpv Print Server.
Rpv Print Server. The utility was enhanced to accept a configuration file when started.
New Starter.exe utility added. This new utility is added specially for DOS languages, to launch programs such as the Reports Viewer.
Several minor modifications. Rpv Business Reports was enhanced in many ways. Bugs were fixed on: Rpv Reports Viewer, Rpv Print Server, RpvCorporate.ocx, RpvPrint.exe, Rpv2Pdf.exe, Rpv E-mailer, Rpv Visual Editor to provide better experience and avoid problems.

Rpv Visual Editor. The tool was enhanced to give the developer more options.
The tool incorporates the file recovery to prevent loss of work if the system crashes for some reason.
New capabilities were added to create templates for new files. Declare the RPX or RPD file and the Visual Editor will create the sections/subsections automatically.
New "additional properties" for some objects to give more options and show values present in the RPX file.
The application was modified to place and size better the objects on screen.
Fonts and effects are saved for future instances of the application.
Several minor modifications to provide better experience.
More enhancements
Margins calibration utility. This new utility was included to adjust the application to different new printers that may have problems with the left and top margin.
PDF format enhanced. The Rpv2Pdf utility was modified to accept the number of pages to be exported and the interface was enhanced.
XLS format enhanced. The interface was modified providing now the ability to export the font format to the XLS file.
Rpv E-Mailer modified. This application was modified to accept new extensions not existent in the past. (e.g. CAT , Catalunya)
Barcodes UCC-EAN-128. This particular barcode was modified to produce more readable barcodes.
Delete_after parameter enhanced. This feature was enhanced to comply better the users' requirements.
Rpx format enhanced to correct problems with the footer section.
Rpv pack format. The format was modified to accept more images in the same file.

Rpv Visual Editor available. This new tool is intended to create templates visually. With Rpv Visual Editor is not necessary to code anymore. Rpv Visual Editor will create the needed core automatically.
New AlwaysFit parameter. This new parameter adjusts each page to fit in the paper that the printer has.
New SendPaperToPrinter parameter. This parameter sets the paper of the printer automatically. This is intended for those reports that need to be printed on an special paper.
New command CS (CharSet). This new command allows to specify different charsets to print characters in other languages.
RpvCorporate.ocx activex modified. The activex object was modified to compatibilize better with Windows XP, 2000 and Vista.

Ability to accept multiple HEADERS. From this new version is possible to declare as many headers as needed. When declaring a new [header], this will remain active until the end of the report or until a new [header] is set.
New [footer] section was added to insert footers to the reports. Like the [header] section, the [footer] section is added to Rpv Business Reports 5.3.3 to make easier footers to the reports. It is also possible to declare as many [footer] as needed.
Important new features to manage text files. Specially intended for those who work with text files, now is possible to insert Rpv commands within any text file using "double brackets". From version 5.3.3 of Rpv Business Reports the generation of reports from text files has a big change. Insert any command in the middle of a text or even set [header] and [data] sections using this new important feature.
New DATACONVERSION parameter. This new setting is used to perform conversions only for data and not for the templates. This is a really important feature for those who work on Ms-Dos or Unix on non-english laguages.
New format of double "@" for functions. For an easy use, from Rpv BR 5.3.3. is possible to use all the funciones (PAG, OFPAG, TIME, etc) in the middle of a text as part of them using the new format. (@@pag, @@ofpag, @@time, etc). This format is 100% compatible with previous versions of Rpv Reports.
New PAGE command. Combined with the new function @@page, this command allows to set the number of the current page.
New parameteres PLM and PTM. Specially intended to set the margins for printing without affecting the preview.

Rpv E-Mailer included! Rpv Business Reports 5.2 now includes Rpv E-Mailer to give your applications the capability to send your reports by e-mail silently. Not only reports: simple messages, newsletters in standard text format or HTML, from the Rpv E-Mailer's interface or directly from your applications using your favorite programming language.
New Format command. Using this command, it will be possible that you can format numbers, dates and times from your reports. Just send your numbers in general format and let Rpv Business Reports 5.2 does the rest. This command formats your data according the regional settings of your system. For example, if "Currency" is specified a user from England will see Pounds and a user from USA will see Dollars.
New commands UPPER, lower and FirstUp. These new commands were included to convert your texts more conveniently converting to upper and lower case. The last command: FirstUp, performs a very special conversion: the first letter of each word (and the first letter after a period) is converted to upper case and the rest of the word to lower case. This new command will be essential to obtain great presentations.
New installer does not require restarting your computer
Other additions / changes. Changes have been made to: RpvConfig.exe and the activeX components RpvCorporate.ocx, RpvGraph.ocx, Rpv.exe, etc to give more stability to the system.

Ability to create your personal driver for your printer. Now you can generate virtually the driver that you need for your printer. It will be necessary that you know the sequences accepted by the printer and the Rpv command that you want to associate with them.
Compatibility with more e-mail clients. Until now, the only possibility to send reports by e-mail was Outlook Express.
End user edition modified to avoid the end users can save their reports in Rpv plain format. With this end user edition, it will not be possible to modify the reports at any time.
Possibility to define default parameters for the viewer. Specify the default parameters to the reports viewer and do not modify your programs anymore to open it.
Internal modifications offer more stability and compatibility.
